Local Pages has many shopping deals and lists many local businesses providing the services that you need. All you have to do is browse the listings for your local area (get it – local??) or search for an item or service that you’re looking for, and you can take advantage of substantial discounts, while keeping money in your community. Entering the contest is as easy as using Local Pages.

Let’s say that we’re in the market for a body shop in West Los Angeles. Search for body shop and enter west los angeles, ca in the location box. It takes you to a page listing several local businesses. The first one listed is Lee’s Frame & Axle Body & Paint. Click on the name of the business for their page, and copy the URL, then paste it into your comment below. Then write a sentence or two explaining why YOU should win the gift card, and I’ll pick the answer I like best. The first comment below is an example of what we’re looking for here. Be sure to include your email address when filling out your comment form (don’t worry; email addresses are only visible behind the scenes; people won’t steal your address, and we promise to not email you about anything other than if you won this contest).
Contest Rules

Entries (via comment) must be received by 11:59 p.m. EDT on April 12, 2011. Only one entry per person. Howdy! I’m a Chevy guy, but the 2011 Dodge Charger just grabs my attention, in part due to its “you-can’t-confuse-this-with-a-Camry or ‘impala’ or Taurus” design. If I haven’t bought one by the end of June, I plan to rent a 2011 Charger for my road trip, June 24 to July 11, going from PA, to spots along Route 66, to the northwest US (Washington/Oregon/Idaho/etc.). I get the feeling that my girlfriend Leah might be getting tired of my robotic-like routine of a sandwich and baked beans for lunch every day.
