Site down last night, malware warnings from your browser, etc…

Frequent visitors to the site may have noticed that the site was taken down late last night (Eastern Time).

We took it down intentionally because our site was being attacked by a nasty Trojan malware program.

We have eradicated the malware now and are back up and running, and we apologize for being down so long.

We decided, however, to err on the side of caution and take the site down as soon the malware was discovered, and to not reactivate the site until we ran the site through multiple scans and tests.

The site has now passed all of those tests with flying colors.

For those readers that use Chrome or Firefox browsers to access the site, you may receive malware alerts for another few days when you access our home page; this is simply lag between Autosavant and the Chrome/Firefox databases of potential-malware sites, and we can assure you that the Autosavant site is as pure as driven snow at this point and safe to use.
